(A) Quite a lot! There are parties and events going on all the time. Alliance side has The Golden Leaf tavern every night, @ the park in Stormwind. Hside has Phials @ UC on Tuesday nights, and The Laughing Zhevra @ Ratchet Inn every Thursday. There have been Pirate fight nights, swanky parties, University of Kalimdor field trips etc. Outside of game, Equinox is posting new stories AND there is a new podcast specifically for ShC called "Shadowcast" that broadcasts monthly (shadowcast.guildportal.com). I suggest checking out the WoW ShC Forums and ShC Realmportal (shadowcouncil.realmportal.com) to see what's going on and what you can get in on.
(B) Rather than getting bored with the same Aside quests again, and risking burnout, try rolling an Hsider, maybe? There isn't one specific wonderful race and class and guild combo that will make all your Hordie dreams come true :) Everybody clicks with something different, obviously. But a few combos match the racial passive's pretty well:
Undead rogues, Tauren shammies, Troll priests, and Orc warlocks are all popular choices. I myself play an orc huntress and LOVE it. I also recently rolled an undead rogue and am enjoying that too. Personally, I've never used my "Bloodrage" orc passive, but the "Will of the Forsaken" racial passive is pretty sweet - as is cannibalize. Free food means not having to use pack space to carry around meat :) Gross, eh?
As for guilds, if you're looking for high RP, on Hside there are not as many choices as Aside. Your biggest most well known RP guild is going to be Eternal Path, then medium size you have Acme Co, Swiftstride Clan, Frontlines, and There & Back. Small size leaves Blazing Phoenix and Between Wind & Water.
(C) Depends on who you ask. I've been on ShC since about 2 months after it opened. I've watched the server go from small to big, and fill up with 60s. The economy has gotten stronger because of it, but as with any server, that also means more gold farmers and more asshats. Now, this is just MY opinion, but on Aside there is a really big problem with a 'new trend' in asshats putting low level greens up for like 90g as some sort of joke. This isn't happening Hside. You can still get a level 15 green sword for like 9 silver. Personally, I see this as a good thing. There are certain mats, though, that remain outrageously overpriced - like linen, heavy leather, arcane crystals, etc. For the most part though I'm muuuuuuuch happier with the Hside AH than the Aside AH.
